KC Curbside Glass Uses Facebook Page To Help Feed Hungry

Overland Park, KS

Local business, KC Curbside Glass, has volunteered to donate 1 can of food to Harvesters – The Community Food Network for every “Like” they receive on their Facebook page. Their goal is to deliver 361 cans of food to Harvesters for their #Can2WorkDay food drive on April 9. At the start of their campaign KC Curbside Glass had 639 page “Likes” and if they reach their goal of 361 cans they will have 1,000 “Likes”.

“It’s not about getting people to “Like” our Facebook page as much as it is about donating a lot of cans of food to Harvesters for those who are hungry. We are a small company so Can 2 Work Day had to be changed a little to maximize our efforts,” explained Hunt Magee, KC Curbside Glass owner.

“When we started this company a year ago we pledged to give 10% of our total revenue back to our local communities and we think Harvesters does great work helping to feed those in need,” stated Mr. Magee.

If you would like to help KC Curbside Glass reach their goal of 361 cans donated simply go to their Facebook page at www.facebook.com/kccurbsideglass and “Like” their company page. If you have already “Liked” their page you may click on the “share” link on their #Can2WorkDay post so that others will be able to “Like” the page.
